Made for Every Moment

Toast Virginia is a regional marketing campaign funded by the Virginia Tourism Corporation, built to strengthen public awareness of Virginia's wine and hospitality industry. It brought wineries, tourism organizations, and hospitality partners across Nelson, Greene, and Madison counties under one identity.

A regional campaign has a structural problem. It has to sound like one place while serving businesses that are each their own brand. Toast Virginia needed a library that held together as a campaign and still worked inside a single tasting room.

RESULTS

“The campaign generated 761,945 impressions and reached 690,099 unique consumers while driving more than 125,000 engagements. It also generated 9,101 direct website visits, exceeding the original campaign goal by 82%. Campaign advertisements achieved click-through rates as high as 4.25%, significantly outperforming typical tourism and hospitality industry benchmarks. The creative assets developed by Nite4Nite played a key role in these results, helping establish a strong, unified identity for the campaign and demonstrating the effectiveness of authentic storytelling in promoting Virginia wine tourism.”

Testimonial

Nite4Nite served as the creative production partner for the Toast Virginia campaign, a Virginia Tourism Corporation-funded regional marketing initiative designed to strengthen public awareness and support for Virginia’s wine and hospitality industry. The campaign brought together wineries, tourism organizations, and hospitality partners across Nelson, Greene, and Madison counties to tell the story of Virginia wine through authentic, place-based storytelling. The project included the development of photography, videography, branded campaign assets, and digital marketing content centered around the campaign tagline, “Made for Every Moment.”

Apart from budgetary limitations, the project required coordination across multiple destinations, businesses, and stakeholders while maintaining a consistent regional brand identity. Filming needed to capture authentic visitor experiences, agricultural landscapes, hospitality settings, and winery operations across numerous locations and seasons. The production schedule was ambitious, with deliverables needed within the grant timeline to support campaign launches, partner activation, and paid advertising efforts. Additionally, all creative assets needed to align with the Toast Virginia brand framework while remaining flexible enough for use by a diverse group of wineries and tourism partners.

The Nite4Nite team was professional, organized, collaborative, and highly responsive throughout the project. They took the time to understand the campaign’s goals and the unique character of each destination and partner involved. Their crew worked seamlessly with winery owners, tourism staff, lodging partners, and other stakeholders, making participants feel comfortable on camera while capturing genuine moments and experiences. They consistently communicated timelines, expectations, and creative direction, making what could have been a complex multi-location production process feel smooth and manageable.

The quality of the photography, videography, and creative assets exceeded expectations. Nite4Nite delivered a comprehensive library of professional content that beautifully captured the people, places, products, and experiences that define Virginia wine country. The assets are visually compelling, authentic, and strategically aligned with the campaign’s objectives. Most importantly, the materials are versatile and reusable, providing lasting value to wineries and tourism partners long after the grant period ended.

The Toast Virginia campaign was promoted through paid social media advertising, destination marketing channels, winery and tourism partner platforms, tasting rooms, newsletters, and visitor communications. Paid advertising targeted audiences in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and New York.

Planning & Execution

Chapter 1 - Three Counties, One Voice

Coordination came before cameras. Wineries, lodging partners, and three county tourism offices each had their own calendar, their own operating constraints, and their own sense of what made their corner of the region distinct. Six shoot days covered two to three locations apiece, planned so the footage would cut together as one campaign rather than three.

Chapter 2 - Summer, Fall, Winter

Wine country doesn't photograph as one place. A full canopy in July and a harvest in October are different landscapes, and a campaign that runs all year can't be shot in a single week. Production was split across summer, fall, and winter so the library covers the calendar instead of one good weekend.

We hold our work to high standards. We focus on sustainable results built on smart strategy and real insight.

Chapter 3 - Built to be Shared

The assets had to work for partners who would never coordinate with each other. Sixteen finished videos were delivered horizontal and vertical, graded to hold one campaign identity while dropping cleanly into an individual winery's feed, a tasting room screen, or a county newsletter. The library outlasted the grant period and is still in use.
