Keepers, a modern nautical folktale, is a micro budget short film entirely shot off the coast of Cape Cod.

SYNOPSIS

A grieving lobsterman struggling to make ends meat discovers an anomaly at sea in a strange bait trap that yields impossible wealth. His curiosity leads to obsession and triggers a cascade of events that will challenge his very reality. "Keepers" unveils a mesmerizing journey into grief, mystery, and obsession, set against the backdrop of the vast and unpredictable sea.

About Us

  • Luke Slattery - Actor

    Luke Slattery is a Denver born, NYC based actor, director, and producer. Some acting credits include The Boys in the Boat (dir. George Clooney), The Post (dir. Steven Spielberg) and New Amsterdam (NBC). He produced a short documentary, 'Living While American', that premiered at DOC NYC. As a director, he’s made a handful of shorts that operated with a lean, run-and-gun approach that he developed alongside key collaborators Paul Emile and Christopher Ross Fitzsimmons.

    We are the studio wing at Nite4Nite Productions, We are a small group of creatives, developers and producers based out of Charlottesville, VA and Brooklyn, NY who like to create and pitch content. We believe that no story is too difficult to tell, and no moment is too complex to capture. We hope to make content that resonates, reflects, and exposes new inner truths.   • Paul-Emile - Director

    Paul Emile is a filmmaker and actor based in NYC. Emulating his heroes, Agnès Varda and Steven Soderbergh, Paul has directed across platforms in documentary, music videos, commercial, and theater. Recently he directed the "You Have Changed" music video with Bandits on the Run featuring John Gallagher Jr. Film and TV acting credits include 'The Judge' (Warner Brothers), and 'Law & Order' (NBC) .
